The construction of the Wagner Place project in downtown west Dearborn requires the closure of one block of Monroe Street from Michigan Avenue south to West Village Drive.
Construction crews will be shutting down Monroe Street between Michigan Avenue and West Village Drive starting from August 14 through the end of the year for the Wagner Place construction.
In the coming weeks, there will also be some temporary lane closures to eastbound to Michigan Avenue, as well as a one week closure to West Village Drive between Mason and Monroe as the precast concrete panels start to go up on the parking deck.
Michigan Avenue is maintained by the Michigan Department of Transporation (MDOT) and any temporary lane closures on Michigan Avenue are usually reported at the following link:
Ford Motor Land Development Company’s Wagner Place covers two blocks and will house 600 Ford employees in offices, and bring restaurants and retail and green spaces to the west downtown. It is being built on the south side of Michigan Avenue between Mason and Oakwood.
Wagner Place is expected to open in summer 2018.
