Rubbish containers should be put out on the
easement, not in the street, and must be put out after 5 p.m. the night
before collection or by 7 a.m. on rubbish day. Prepare all materials
properly for speedy, efficient pick-up. You must bag or bundle all your
trash. Do not put out anything that can blow around. Do not put loose
trash in cans. All bags should be placed in cans with lids for pick
up.
Rubbish/yard waste/recycling containers must
be removed from the curb by midnight at the end of your rubbish day
and stored in your garage or behind the house. Containers may not be
stored on porches, side yards, or in view from the street.
REMEMBER all rubbish must
be stored in rat proof cans with lids. Rubbish should be tied up in
bags and then put in the rat proof cans for storing. DO NOT STORE TRASH
BAGS ON GROUND.
Failure to comply with these rubbish instructions may

ACCEPTABLE RUBBISH CONTAINERS
- Sturdy plastic bags (20-32 gallon)
- Metal cans WITH TIGHT RAT PROOF LIDS (20-32 gallon)
- Plastic cans WITH TIGHT RAT PROOF LIDS (20-32 gallon).
Must be good quality pliable plastic to resist breakage.
ABOVE CONTAINERS SHOULD NOT WEIGH MORE THAN 35 POUNDS
when set out. If worker cannot lift the container it will be left at
the curb.
REGULAR RUBBISH PICKUP: Bag or bundle
all trash, no loose items.
- Trash Bags (tied) 35 lbs each.
- Trash Cans (32 gallon, 35 lbs each, and bags inside
must be tied).
- Construction Material (must be bagged or bundled and
35 lbs or less) - Limit 5 a week or 20 a year.
- Household Furniture (except move outs). Large move
outs will require a special pickup with charge.
- Household Appliances (doors off refrigerators and
freezers).
- Carpet/Padding (tied in 4 foot rolls and no more than
35 lbs each) - Limit 6 rooms a year.
- Garage Doors (8x8ft).
- Windows (up to 4x6ft) - Limit 5 a week or 20 a year.
- Animal Droppings - must be placed in doubled plastic
bags and set out with trash.
- Latex paint, if completely dried out, may be placed
at the curb for collection on your regular trash day. Remember to
remove the lid and put the lid in your trash container. To dry out
latex paint, open the can in a well ventilated area until it solidifies.
Kitty litter can be used to absorb the latex paint. When the paint
is completely hardened, remove the lid and put it in your trash container.
Place the open paint can at the curb for collection.
EXCEPTIONS: Special pickup charges ($50
and up) will be applied to the following: (Any debris for pickup MUST
be placed at the curb.)
- Large Move Outs.
- Excessive Construction Material
Private contractors are responsible for hauling away their own debris.
