New edition of Meet Your Council now airing on CDTV

The newest edition of the program Meet Your Council is now airing on CDTV, the City of Dearborn’s government cable television channel.

CDTV is Channel 12 on Comcast and Channel 10 on WOW! Internet . Cable . Phone. The new edition of Meet Your Council features these items:

• City Council President Thomas P. Tafelski introduces us to Richard Haskin, cultural chair of the Dante Alighieri Society – Michigan Chapter, which promotes the rich history of Italian culture.
  
• Council President Pro Tem Nancy A. Hubbard provides the facts about a recent DNS LifePrint child safety event held at Fairlane Ford.
  
• Council Member Mark Shooshanian recounts the City’s recent tribute to the Eppinger family and to Eppinger Manufacturing: the unveiling of the official sign for Eppinger Pond at Dearborn’s Ford Community & Performing Arts Center.
  
• Council Member Suzanne Sareini examines the issue of senior abuse and offers hope through community resources.
  
• Council Member Bob Abraham explores issues related to county and state rights of way and roads in Dearborn, including maintenance programs and City efforts to lobby for improvement of county and state roadways.
