Golf outing to support Dearborn
Education Foundation is Sunday, Oct. 5
Want to play a great golf course and support a great cause in the process?
Then circle Sunday, Oct. 5, on your calendar and plan to take part in
a special golf outing benefiting the Dearborn Education Foundation.
The outing will take place at TPC Michigan, one of the area’s
most sought-after golf courses. To reserve tickets, contact Barbara
Parker, the Foundation’s executive director, at 313.562.6481.
Proceeds from the event benefit the Foundation, a registered 501(c)3
organization. Ticket purchases are tax-deductible to the extent allowed
by law.
“Being part of the golf outing is a great way to combine your
love of golf and your desire to do something to help students,”
said Foundation President Brian Mosallam. “TPC Michigan offers
a unique golfing experience. And along the way, you’ll be doing
your part to enhance the schools that educate our kids.”
Individuals or businesses interested in supporting the Foundation by
being a sponsor of the golf outing can also contact Parker for more
information. All sponsorship donations are tax-deductible to the extent
allowed by law.
The October 5 outing will include 18 holes of golf, lunch and dinner
and the chance to participate in a silent auction with great items being
offered.
The Dearborn Education Foundation is a group of a group of private citizens,
independent of the Board of Education, who raise funds for grants to
Dearborn public schools to purchase and install technology and innovative
programs not funded by the school budget. It has raised and returned
almost $1 million to Dearborn schools through grant requests.
