Enjoy free “Music Under the Stars” concerts
in Dearborn beginning July 10
Music lovers are invited to attend Dearborn’s free “Music
Under the Stars” festival, sponsored by the Dearborn Recreation
Department, which will take place Thursdays at 7:30 p.m. beginning July
10 and lasting until August 28.
The acts and locations are as follows:
- Laith Al-Saadi at the Dearborn Hills Golf Course on July 10;
- Swing Shift at the West Village Commons Plaza on July 17;
- Brazil and Beyond, co-sponsored by the East Dearborn Downtown Authority,
at City Hall Park on July 24;
- Bomb Squad at Dearborn Hills Golf Course on July 31;
- Howlin’ Mercy at Schemansky Park on August 7;
- The Gratitude Steel Band’s “Caribbean Splash”
at Dunworth Pool in Levagood Park on August 14;
- Ara Topouzian, co-sponsored by the East Dearborn Downtown Authority,
at City Hall Park on August 21; and
- Fifty Amp Fuse at Dearborn Hills Golf Course on August 28.
All performances will be held outdoors, so concertgoers are invited
to bring a chair or blanket.
