Residents encouraged to pay water bills By mail or automatic
payment program. Dearborn residents are encouraged to use either of
two convenient, time-saving methods to pay their water bills, instead
of paying their bills in person at the Treasurer’s Office of City
Hall:
- BY MAIL – Residents can mail their bills
to: City of Dearborn, P.O. Box 4000, Dearborn, MI 48126-4000. Checks
should be made payable to City of Dearborn.
- AUTOMATIC PAYMENT – This program allows
water bill payments to be automatically deducted from your checking
or savings account. To receive the application form to join the program,
call 943-2307.
The Water Division and Sewerage Division of the City of Dearborn’s
Department of Public Works (DPW) have been streamlined into a new, single
division called the Water & Sewerage Division. However, all telephone
numbers for water-related services remain the same:
- Emergencies, water mains and connections, 943.2306.
- Emergency calls after hours, 943.2100.
- Final meter readings, 943.2427.
- General information, 943.2307.
Residents should also be aware that the office of the former Water
Division which was located in City Hall has closed; all Water and Sewerage
Division staff are now consolidated in the DPW headquarters building
located on Greenfield Road.
Residents with questions about their city water or sewer service are
encouraged to visit the Department of Public Works page at www.cityofdearborn.org,
or to call 943-2307.
