The Dearborn City Clerk's Office oversees all elections within the City of Dearborn.
Dearborn residents must be registered to vote, and must vote at their designated polling place within their precinct.

Register to Vote
Dearborn residents may register to vote at the City Clerk’s Office or any Secretary of State branch office. Registration is also available by mail using the form provided at the top of this page.
A voter registration card will be mailed to the voter within two weeks. The card will state the voter name, address, precinct number and the polling location.
If applied for at the Clerk's Office counter, a driver’s license, passport or State ID must be shown. In lieu of picture ID, other requirements may apply.
Absentee Voter Information
The Dearborn City Clerk's Office can also process absentee voter requests.
Specific requirements apply to be eligible to vote absentee. Voters wishing to vote absentee must request an absentee ballot in advance of the election. The form to request an absentee ballot is available from the Clerk's office, online at the top of this webpage, or can be requested by mail.
Unofficial election results for Dearborn are posted on the City's website, generally on the evening of the election after polls close at 8 p.m.
A paper copy of Dearborn's voter results can also be obtained from the Clerk's office following any election.
