The City of Dearborn will host the annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony and Community Sing-Along at the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center on Monday, Nov. 20 at 5 p.m.

The free event is a longtime Dearborn tradition. The public is invited to join Mayor Abdullah H. Hammoud in lighting the City’s ceremonial tree outside the west entrance of the Michael A. Guido Theater. A student from Dearborn Public Schools will participate in lighting the 30-foot white fir aglow alongside Mayor Hammoud.

Following the tree lighting, participants are welcome inside The Center for more holiday festivities, a sing-along of the seasonal favorites with Mayor Hammoud in the Michael A. Guido Theater, and a tour of the Festival of Trees display in the Lincoln Ballroom, free of charge. The Festival of Trees display supports the Children's Hospital of Michigan Foundation and their important purpose of helping children and their families live happier, healthier lives to make every moment matter.
