Playscape300Dearborn residents and visitors can enjoy picnics, field games, pools, sports, playscapes and other recreational activities on more than 400 acres of public land making up the 40 city parks in Dearborn.

Each park is categorized as a mini, neighborhood or a community park based on a classification system developed by the National Recreation and Parks Association.

Covered structures are available for rent in Dearborn’s parks for picnics and other occasions with 100 or more guests, or you may apply for a picnic permit for smaller gatherings of 20 or more people.

In addition, the Rouge River Gateway Corridor runs through Dearborn and is considered one of the most important natural and cultural assets of southeast Michigan.  The trail can be accessed by foot or bike from Ford Field Park.
