Call the Council Office at 943-2025 or dial the council member directly and leave a message. This is not their full-time job and they do not have regular office hours.
When are City Council meetings?
The council meets on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. in the council chambers at the Dearborn Administrative Center, 16901 Michigan Ave. The exact dates are listed in the city calendar. All council meetings are cablecast live on CDTV and replayed during the week. Committee of the Whole meetings are on the Thursday preceding a council meeting at 7 p.m. The public is welcome at all meetings.

When does the city hold elections for City Council?
Once elected, councilmembers hold their position for four years. Each council seat is up for election at the end of that four-year span. There is no term limit.
What are the requirements to run for City Council?
A person must be a Dearborn resident, registered voter and 18 years of age.
