Dearborn residents are welcome to attend the public hearing for the proposed Fiscal Year 2018-19 budget at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 15 in the City Council Chambers of the Dearborn Administrative Center (DAC), 16901 Michigan Ave.
The proposed FY19 budget covers July 1, 2018, through June 30, 2019.
Traditionally, multiple meetings take place between the administration and the City Council prior to the public hearing and public adoption of the budget. Most sessions have already occurred.
Budget workshops may be added. At this point, only two scheduled meeting remains, and will take place at 6:30 p.m. Monday , April 30 with a focus on Property Maintenance and Development Services and Wednesday, May 9 with the topic of transformative projects and existing efforts. It is in Conference Room 1-A of the DAC.
Residents attending the meetings should use the West Entrance of the DAC.

The budget must be approved by the City Council before the new fiscal year begins. A budget adoption meeting date will be set soon and will also be open to the public.
