Local author Lisa Lark is working on a history book to further memorialize the Dearborn men and one woman who died in combat and are remembered on the City's War Memorial in front of the Henry Ford Centennial Library.  

She is asking anyone who knows more about the fallen servicemen, especially those from World War I, World War II and the Korean War to contact her.  Lark is trying to gather biographical details and photographs of each of those listed on the memorial. The information she gathers will be included in a book, and some of the proceeds will be donated to veterans' causes.

Lark previously wrote a book "All They Left Behind" about service members from across the country who died in Vietnam.  That project started with Lark, a Dearborn teacher at the time, researching the Dearborn men who died in Vietnam and are remembered on the City's War Memorial.
