DH Golf ChampionshipDearborn Hills course to host fifth annual event

Dearborn’s Fifth Annual City Golf Championship Tournament will be Saturday and Sunday, September 8-9, at the Robert Herndon Dearborn Hills Course.

The event, open to adult golfers from Dearborn and the surrounding area, will feature 18 holes of play each day, beginning with a shotgun start at 9 a.m.

Competition will be divided into separate divisions for men, women and seniors (aged 55 and over).

The two-day tournament will also include a closest-to-the-pin contest each day and an award luncheon following Sunday’s second round.

Prospective participants can register on-line at www.dearbornhills.com, over the phone, or in person at the pro shop.

The cost is $60/golfer or $220/foursome and includes 18 holes of golf each day, three tokens each round—good for food or a beverage at the turn—and the after-event award luncheon.  The cost does not include the use of a cart.

The Robert Herndon Dearborn Hills Golf Course is located on Telegraph Road just north of Michigan Avenue in west Dearborn.
