Amtrak will perform crucial track maintenance for the railroad bridge over Military Avenue, south of US-12 (Michigan Avenue), on Dearborn's west side.

The work is scheduled to be performed during overnight hours when the trains are not operating, beginning very early Tuesday at about midnight through Wednesday, May 8. Crews will begin this required work around midnight each night and is expected to be completed about 10 a.m. daily.

Military Avenue will remain open while work is being performed on the railroad bridge over the road.

Nearby residents may see and hear construction activity during this brief time when these crucial repairs are being performed.
