The Dearborn Historical Museum will be honoring the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. by hosting a children’s event.

On Monday, January 20, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, from 12 p.m.-1:30 p.m., the McFadden-Ross House will be having an event where children can learn all about the civil rights leader and have fun while doing so.

There will be crafts and story times. This is a great opportunity for parents looking to educate their children in an engaging way on this special day.

This is the first of a new monthly series at the Museum. In January, the Museum wants children to feel encouraged to think about their dreams for themselves, their community, and their world. Admission is $2 per child to cover the cost for the craft materials.

The McFadden-Ross House is at 915 S. Brady. For more information, call

(313) 565-3000.
