The Dearborn Historical Museum will be hosting a behind the scenes look of its collection during a “Hands on History” event at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 29.

Attendees can visit the McFadden-Ross House, 915 S Brady, to get a unique view of selections from the Museum’s collection of Native American artifacts that are not normally on display to the public.

They will also get the chance to discuss the artifacts with the Collections Manager Matthew Graff and the Collections Intern Sara Lange.

“This is a great opportunity to see our collection,” said Paul Talpos, assistant chief curator of the museum.

Admission for the event is free for Museum members. If you are not a member, the admission is $5. For more information on museum memberships, which start at $25, visit thedhm.com.
