It’s never too early to think about summer fun, including the annual Dearborn Homecoming Festival and its many activities. The popular and returning "All-Stars Day" event, presented by the City of Dearborn and the Dearborn Specials, is free and will take place Friday, Aug. 4 from 8 a.m.-12 p.m. at Ford Field Park.
All-Stars Day is an event catered to children and adults with special needs to provide increased accessibility.
“A carnival is an experience that can be challenging for those with special needs, but thanks to the Dearborn Specials, participants will have the time and space needed to make activities and the carnival accessible and fun for everyone," said Camille Gibson, All-Stars Day organizer.
All-Stars Day attendees will meet on the tennis courts at Ford Field Park. Activities will take place there, in the South Shelter area and at the carnival before it opens to the general public. There will be sensory-friendly games, face painting, a dance party, and access to the Homecoming carnival rides.
Pre-registration is required for this event. A digital registration form can be found at this link: https://tinyurl.com/All-Stars-Event
Paper copies are also available for pickup at the Dearborn Administrative Center.
All registration forms MUST be submitted no later than Wednesday, August 2, 2023.
