The Training and Development Office is responsible for a vast array of initives and programs within the Dearborn Police Department and the community.

In addition to training and certifying Police personnel, the Training and Development Office is in charge of the department's Community Policing program, Honor Guard, Police Interns and Explorers, and Reserve Officers.
