The Parking Ordinance Enforcement Unit is responsible for all enforcement action within the parking districts and streeParkingSignts of the City. These Officers are also responsible for public service days, abandoned vehicles, nuisance violations, commercial vehicle parking complaints, residential zoning complaints, school crossing details and ordinance violations.

Utilizing new electronic citation technology, Officers are able to use eChalking for parking spaces and eliminates paper processes. The technology also allows Officers to create citations and transmit the data directly to the 19th District Court while away from the police station. This allows residents to make inqueries in a more timely and transparent fashion.

Special Parking Permits
