Employee Assistance Program
The City of Dearborn has changed its Employee Assistance Program (EAP) service provider from Health Management Systems of America (HMSA) to Henry Ford ENHANCE.
Many of us have complications in our lives outside of work that can weigh us down and distract us. These might include: balancing work and family obligations, dealing with stress and personal challenges, fighting depression, finding the right child or elder care, getting help for a loved one who seems to be stressed, help for yourself when you have relationship problem, grief or loss challenges, legal or financial problems and others.
When the problems of daily living become too difficult to manage, we encourage you to turn to the services of Henry Ford ENHANCE Employee Assistance Program (HFHS EAP). The EAP is staffed with licensed and trained counselors who can help with a variety of problems.
Through HFHS Enhance, the City of Dearborn is able to provide free EAP services to a broader group of individuals than were eligible in the past: full time and part time employees, their dependents, and those non-dependents living in their household. By calling the toll-free phone number, 888-EAP-HFHS /888-327-4347, you can consult with a counselor over the phone, virtually, or arrange to see a counselor face-to-face, depending upon the nature of the problem.
For employees who self-refer to the EAP, the City receives no information as to why the employee is using the service. Your relationship with EAP is confidential.
