If a request for a permit is denied, the requestor will receive written notification detailing the reasons for the denial, which may include missing information in the permit application, or a permit request that does not meet City code and ordinance guidelines.
The requestor has the opportunity to appeal the denial before the Building Board of Appeals.
Requests for variances will be scheduled before the board, and the requestor will receive a written notification of a hearing date, time and location for their appeal.
Fees apply for all appeals for permits.
