City ordinances are designed to support efforts to keep Dearborn beautiful. Among the regulations, Dearborn requires that:

• Grass and weeds must be cut regularly so that they stay at a height of 6 inches or less
• Snow must be removed from the sidewalk adjacent to a property within 24 hours of a significant snowfall to allow for safe passage by pedestrians
• Vehicles must be properly stored, and cannot be inoperable
• Yards must be kept clean of yard waste, animal waste and junk
